But aside from the Media player ActiveX component being updated on occasion, I've never had an problems viewing movies online (<a href="http://www.paulchatman.com/OS2_Universe/Untitled - 1.jpg" rel="nofollow">Pic 1</a>, <a href="http://www.paulchatman.com/OS2_Universe/Untitled - 2.jpg" rel="nofollow">Pic 2</a>). Except for DSL speed issues, but that was solved when i upgraded to 6MB speed. And getting a GF7600 512MB also helped. But, also you may have to have Media Player v11 installed as well.
